The academy in stockton is becoming a joke, and it's not at the fault of the on-site staff. The cadet karts are constantly being changed and slowed down due to the apparent excuse of the need to be 20% slower than the adult karts. Firstly this is detrimental to the purpose of the academy training by not allowing the cadets the ability to manage the throttle response and how the karts work fully. Secondly this is abit embarrassing that the karts are being reduced to ensure that the adults are getting faster lap times. The academy which we pay the privilege foe has zero lesson prep as the staff admit that head office doesn't send any training programs across so they staff have to make it up which is reflected onto the students, turning the academy session into a drive and go practise adding zero training value. Resolution, Increase the kids carts for the academy sessions only or both if it works. Have a structured training program that the cadets can see and the staff can adhere to in order to promote growth for all. All I ask is that team sport take ownership of what is being promoted and paid for and developed the cadets
