        Thought we'd try the Eaglescliffe after hearing about new ownership. It was lovely and clean inside but unfortunately the drink selection was a little lacklustre. The thing that really ruined it for us was a table of annoying lads constantly making stupid loud noises. I wouldn't write the place off but I'd need to give it another go. There are some strong alternative pubs in the area so I think the 'Cliffe' will struggle to draw us away from them.

        Always have a cracking time here, the pool ques are great and the owner is a cracking bloke. Played some pool with him and his mates in the pool league. Champion blokes and the beer is decent price and lovely scenery outside.
