I'll start with the positives which are excellent prices for top tier lagers; 3.30 compared to Wetherspoons 3.49. The place is recently refurbished and you can tell, aside from the bathrooms it's a very clean place: bathrooms are mediocre clean. Bar staff can massively vary depending on who serves you... the young lad is sound, the young lass is sound, but then the older women are effing brutal; one even going as far as to throw a regulars can of coke in the bin without any warning because they didn't sell it there... no compromise was offered. There has been several instances, I've witnessed, in which the staff have disagreed with the patrons; I won't be returning because a lot of the time the judgements are unfair and usually end in bad customer service. This is a place that will give you all the second chances you need but doesn't allow leighway on the first chance.... their way or the highway... Didn't stay overnight, but I feel sorry for those who stay overnight on the weekend.
