Howdyz Stockton-on-Tees

Usually have good service from these as ordered many times, however on this occasion the service and customer care was atrocious. I ordered a 6 piece family bucket for delivery as was going out, the driver turned up shortly after 1705 but I found that it was the wrong order after he left. Phoned Howdyz at 1715 and was told it was a new driver and that he would be back to change it. He turned up at 1724 to take the incorrect order and told me he would be 10 minutes with my replacement. At 1751, 27 minutes later, I tried to call to get an update but the line rang out. For the next 30 minutes myself and my partner tried on numerous occasions to get through to no avail. My wife finally got through at 1830 to be told that we had been told it was a new driver and that they would cook fresh that would take 10 minutes, a whole hour after being told he would be 10 minutes! We cancelled as the man on the phone was very rude, and we did not believe the time frame given especially from what had happened. Disgusting behaviour and customer service from a place we had liked.

The most disgusting takeaway Ive ever had. I came here for a takeaway, i ordered a chicken box with chips. The chips were nice but the chicken was the most disgusting thing Ive ever tasted. The wing and festhers were still attached to the chicken, the chicken stunk like it was days old and the rude staff still took half an hour to give me my order. Do not ever eat here, and if you do good luck because it is disgusting. Ive complained to the appropriate people and Im sure they will close the restaurant very soon.
