Terrable. The women on the desk linda an admin worker is rude an very unwelcoming. My counsellor helen was fantastic but i was told she was let go with out notice. I had to wait months for another person i seen lorraine who was suppose to be a manager and counsellor but i dont know how as she was totally useless. And did not help me address my problems. Which is fustrating as my other counsellor understood me so well. I dont think i would return

When I saw them I was told twice that they are not here to make you feel better or stop you from killing yourself if thats your plans. I left there feeling like my time has been wasted and I wouldn't be making another appointment. A few weeks later I got a letter saying I failed to attend my telephone appointment. I had no appointment and I had no calls from them. Tried to tell GP that Starfish isn't any good but they weren't interested either.

Had to wait 4 months to see a therapist in Saltburn. She failed to get to the root of my problems such as low mood and depression, and discharged me after less than 3 months of seeing her, suggesting I use Mind. I still do not feel any better, and refuse to use the local mental health services based at Foxrush House Redcar as they are an absolute joke. A certain Mrs Jane Newbould from there ruined my life and career prospects back in December 2009! I will have to suffer in silence, and I would not recommend Starfish.
