Deffintly a brill shop low on prices. I think these will be closeing down which is a shame as herons is a fantastic shop once these go there is nowhere else to get ur freezer shopping from. Iceland is rubbish and is 2 dear and dosnt have all the stuff you need in like lamb grills etc. The herons has shut down in thornaby. There is no where else 2 shop. The council need 2 stop being idiots and being greedy and move this shop into marks and Spencer and stop thinking about the other shops there not important

Extreamly disappointing place, each time I've been here it's always 1 staff member on till, another stocking. When it's crowded the ques get longer, very hard to get shopping done with limited selections and customers blocking the small aisles. The shop needs more improvements and be moved, the aisles while a panic of pandemic spread is stil a thing just shows others do not care, not a huge fan being next to another while feeling a sense of paranoia while waiting. The positives: low lighting, good deals (now and then), some good selections however it just lacks space, staff are friendly just the customers in there at times can push pass without saying a word so you end up knocking something over. Just huge draw back to this store would have to be the size and staffing, they do not go hand in hand especially when restocking, most the times even the staff get shoved too, must be a nightmare working there when you got such small aisles. Major negatives: Size, choice, ques and even the entrance with how customers can get pushy and shovey, store should be organised to prevent it with aisles not blocked by prop stands nor till ques! Oversight I would say its not a store to shop at for space reasons, your better off going to the other store that B&M owns too which is called B&M, Store there has much larger aisles and more stock, even the customers do not push through just to gain access to products or checkouts. 1 star - Definitely do not need the deals when in cramped areas, can be a massive safety concern around health, depending on whether the next store works on these concerns then its staying 1 star, until then Health is not worth the waste in Wealth.
