Good food and realistic prices but let down by surly unfriendly staff

Extremely disappointed with cafe Maison. It is expensive and poor standard. The cheese scone was very dry. We mentioned this to the waitress but she did not seem bothered. We left our scone as it was awful and too dry to eat. No refund was offered. Over priced rubbish. We will not be returning and definitely do not recommend eating here.

Scones were rock hard and tasteless. Really sub standard for the price they charge. Terrible value for money for poor quality food. Complained but staff not interested at all.

Food was great, standard pricing too. I'm a big fan of how you can select a smaller portion for the breakfasts as my partner can't usually eat that much so saves us a bit of money but moreso stops waste. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the latte was very milky and not very strong at all, however the cappuccino was much stronger so maybe the proportions were a bit off that day. Vegetarian options: Could be a wider selection of vegetarian options but we were going for an English breakfast and they had a vegetarian version so suits me ahaha
