I have been a member of Stocksfield Tennis Club for over 10 years. I have made new friends along the way, and I am still keen to play tennis, it isn't a fad for me, like going to the gym! You are motivated to play tennis, and therefore keep fit, as you do not wish to let other people down. There is a club house with changing facilities/showers/toilets, and a small kitchen area with oven, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The courts are all-weather courts, not hard tarmac surfaces, like a couple of other clubs in the area. The courts at Stocksfield are much more forgiving on the joints :-) With the added bonus of floodlights (operated by token which you can purchase from various committee members) there is no restriction on play (although the lights will turn off automatically at 10pm - being a good neighhbour that the club is). Although a small club, they are welcome to new members and looking to build on their membership. I would highly recommend!
