I am absolutely appalled to have to write endothermic review about specsavers this year. First the Hillsborough one now this one. I went into the shop and requested an updated prescription for my contact lenses, I explained Ive been wearing lenses for 10 years and said I dont need an appointment for you to see me wearing them. I told the lady I had been to hilsborough and had an updated contact lens appointment. In brief she said if I wasnt subscribing to contact lenses with them, she wouldnt give me the prescription. Not only do I struggle to find contact lenses that suit my eyes but I told the lady Ive been with their prescription before and didnt like lenses. Ive been getting mine online for years without a problem, Martin Johnson always let me have my prescription and so did the hilsborough specsaver branch. I think its disgusting this company just tried to get money out of me and gave me an ultimatum between being able to see and subscribing/ giving my money to them. Well youve lost my business!!! I will be going elsewhere in future. How ridiculous. In this economy all I want is to be able to find a cheap pair that can help me see, and all you want to do is take all my money for the most expensive pairs!!!!
