Part exchanged a car, was happy with the price. Few things pointed out with the car I was purchasing that needed repair. They agreed to carry out the repairs. 1 week later, we collected the car all seemed fine. Engine management light came on. The garage was called immediately to resolve as it was within warranty. They had a look (cleared fault codes) Car was returned to find lights appeared yet again. Contacted them to fix.... They have completely ignored every call/email regarding the issue. I would not recommend this garage to anyone. I appreciate I may have been unlucky with the car but if you buy from these guys you will be left to hang dry and palmed off. It has since come to light that the original requests for the initial epairs to be carried out where not carried out and we where spun lies and false information. Seriously avoid this garage!

I brought a car from these a year ago. When purchasing I was told It only had MOT until March 2019 and they would do me a MOT for free. The car was delivered to me on Oct 2nd and when I got in the car I noticed my back window wiper was not working and my headlight was out? Even tho it had been PASSED on mot. I contacted the seller and was told to bring the car in. I got everything fixed and all was fine. 5 weeks later my seat belt stopped working. Then 4 months later the car broke down I rang the garage up to inform them of the problem and they told me to go and get it fixed at a garage it wouldnt cost u much within 7 months of having the car my electric window had broken, My water spray had broken and my back headlight was going on and off and Id paid out about 500 on coil packs spark plugs new wheels. I then took my car for mot on Oct 1 to find out my car had been in CRASH and had never been mark down. That my car was being held together by cable ties and bolts. That my bottom bolts were hanging from my wheels! And he didnt know how my wheels hadnt come off. I was told my wiring on my car had been put together wrong and thats why my electrics were tripping. I was sold a DEATH TRAP they do not care what they are selling you and weather or not its safe to even be on the road. Do not buy a car from them! For your own safety

[WARNING THESE PEOPLE WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT - READ UPDATE BELOW] I had my eye on one of the cars at Barbers so, as they were relatively close to me, I decided to drive there and take a look. After viewing I was interested in the vehicle so I asked about px'ing my car. It soon became apparent that they were not interested as they could only offer me a price 700 less than the going average - there was no way I could make up the deficit. Of course I understand that the car I wanted was well priced for the spec and perhaps they wanted a straight sale but reviews are about customer experience and mine was disappointing. [Update] the car came back up for sale so I rang and placed a 500 deposit on the car. Then spent two weeks trying to get a test drive but they were doing work on the car (alarm bells). I decided to pull out and requested a refund of my deposit. The owner became irate and got me off the phone by saying they had a customer. When I rang again they forwarded me to voicemail. I now have to approach bank, police and maybe even court to get deposit back. Avoid!
