We stayed here as a group over a weekend in September to attend a convention in Stockport. The accommodation was lovely, tidy and clean and had everything we needed. Our only negative is our group member who slept on the sofa bed said that it was very uncomfortable. Thanks for a lovely stay we will definitely consider booking again next year.

If you plan to arrive after dark take a torch as without illumination it is impossible to read the code on the key safe. 1x towel between 2 adults? But I did get a respond quickly from the contact emailer to sort it out but a hunt for towels is just what you want after a 5 hour journey! We fixed the dangerous glass table, the only table, before breakfast to stop a disaster of scolding tea being tipped into my wife's lap. Thought the toilet was self cleaning but it wasn't, no toilet cleaner. Using the toilet brush one probably risk catching something. No shelf or anywhere to put shower gel, shampoo etc in the shower cubicle. Didn't realise it was a steam room. The extractor fan not working and no windows or ventilation in the shower room/WC in this environment is creating mould on the NON opening window frames. There is mould on the shower head (not sure how much of a health risk this is) and in the shower. We had to either hold breath or wait 10 minutes with the door open for the next toilet use because of the lack of ventilation! Perhaps our expectations were too high for 'self-catering ' accommodation at 90 at night? Also we think that the cleaners must be on a time restraint when at the premises. Very unfortunate that this accommodation isn't up to scratch because it could be an absolute gem with a little more effort and due diligence from the owners. The devil is in the detail not in the number of scatter cushion around the property! A mirror in the bedroom wouldn't be a bad idea. I did appreciated the quick email response but it should not have been necessary in the first place. 2 stars for the fact the property had walls, ceiling, hot water (that went to Stockport before coming out of the tap in the shower room), and two doors. The shower itself worked as expected and providing sanitising soap was a good idea. The TV and reception was excellent and the Wi-Fi connection faultless. Parking was excellent, absolutely no issues at all. The property was very quite during our stay. Other than the above we enjoyed our stay due to the fact it was only 10 minutes away from our granddaughter.
