We had a wake here for about 20 people, food was a very good standard, staff were excellent and very responsive. Great atmosphere and environment, we were in a fairly private area of the pub. They organised tea and coffee on tap for us. Would definitely recommend.

The jolly is my local and have really upped their game when it comes to pints on draught. They do the standard Moretti and Heineken but also some nice new additions like black sheep ale and beavertown neck oil.

What used to be a proper pub has now become an estate dwellers dream, overpriced wine, overpriced beers with a pitiful selection, not one wheat beer on show, the food is decent and competitively priced but for where it is located you are better off going into Stockport or Manchester, carvery is overpriced and not great, staff are friendly and helpful but kids running amok and general noise with no atmosphere doesn't help. Stealth service charge added for doing their job is absolutely disgusting, which doesn't have to be paid but is probably noticed too late by most customers which is what they prey on, avoid and go to Stockport, far more better eateries and bars with a far better selection of beer and food are available, beer garden here is nice but the out of this world prices negate this somewhat, one pint and a white wine and soda, 13.50, next round was 13.20, same drinks, weird. If you live on an estate and like being ripped off with your 4 kids then feel free, anyone who knows a decent beer or pint do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
