Tables with empty food on when the pub was quiet. Waited at the 'wait here to be seated sign' for 10 minutes before going to the bar and asking myself, was then told to sit anywhere. Ordered 1 glass of wine and 2 slashes online, after 25 minutes I went and asked where our drinks were, they then come about 5 minutes later. We were then told it was a 50 minute wait for food starter came out after 5. Main eventually came and was missing items from the mixed grill. Food was nice for pub grub but the service received was very poor.

Good central location with easy parking (3hrs free). The usual pub grub is on offer and there is plenty of choice. Staff are very helpful but sadly, the place looks very tired, bordering on scruffy. And it will probably take more than a lick of paint to tart it up. The dining area was not clean and it looked like staff didn't make much effort to change this. Food was also below average and I feel no desire to go back anytime soon.
