Woodsmoor Post Office and Go Local Extra

The guy is the post office is the rudest person I ever met just unwilling to help in any way I stood in the queue watching how bad his customer service is and then when serving me told me he couldn't do a basic top up . I worked in a post office and this is a simple task. He just couldn't be arsed. Complained to the manager who told me well he runs the post office and he's reliable. Yes running your customers away !!!!!!! Ladies in the shop are delightful oozing with a beautiful smile and beautiful personality

I agree with Luke about the rudeness of the staff at the post office. It's the male counter worker, in particular, that is rude, awkward, and deliberately arsey. I've never had any friendly service from him. A cheery greeting is met with an awkward silence. The vibe I get is he doesn't want to be bothered. The staff within the shop, however, are polite.

Woodsmoor post office, or Petes Post Office as some know it by, is a very important part of our community. Its been a part of us for ages, employs our kids with newspaper rounds and til jobs. The staff are great and local, too! No one has ever been rude to us, and we came from well outside this area back in 2008! Weve watched neighbourhood children grow up in there as paper carriers, and then come back for part-time jobs during the holidays from Uni. It doesnt have everything, but the strawberries are ripe and fresh in the summer from local farms, the pies are fantastic and local, too. The bacon and sausages are from reasonably local farms, as is most of the veg. You can buy stamps at the til even when the post office is closed! The wine selection is quite good, and they carry our favourite bagels!! We get The Guardian online but still get the paper on Saturdays, because our sons had jobs there and learned a lot from Pete, Tom, Dez, Jim and the whole lot. They sell local Woodsmoor calendars and Mirrlees Fields stuff, plus our local artists work is also advertised.
