What an absolute joke this place. Booked an appointment to have my wiper blades fitted and wad advised I had to wait for the people who had walked in before me and didn't have appointments booked before my wipers could be fitted. Had to nearly an hour past my booked slot. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. What is the point of booking a slot if you have to wait for everyone before you that haven't booked slots. Absolute scam

Visited for MOT for my car. They failed it on a few items as expected no problem, so far, so good. I went and did the repairs myself as I have done for the last 30 years, then booked a re-test. It then failed again but on two minor items that THEY missed the first time round! They didnt even bother calling me to ask if I would like it repaired so they can pass the MOT. So I went home, fix the two items in 5 minutes and then obviously had to pay for another MOT the very next day. And because they couldnt come up with anything else following day, they said that my headlight aim needs adjusting on a car driven by 50 year old lady for the last 15 years! How does the headlight aim malfunction on its own on a relatively modern car!? Anyway, I had to pay 15 to have it adjusted (money for nothing) and when I complained, they said that the MOT tester does not work for Halfords, but for DVSA!? No idea what that is supposed to mean MOT test was booked on Halfords website, carried out at Halfords Autocentre, and I only dealt with a Halfords mechanic. Overall - very disappointing Needless to say, this was the first and last time I used Halfords Autocentre and I will most certainly never recommend them to anyone.

I had my car booked in for its MOT test at your Stockport Green Lane garage and I took it in this morning to have the test done having paid for it in advance online. I was absolutely outraged when over an hour later was called to be informed that the test had not been carried out. I think its disgusting customer service as I had booked the day off work to have this done. The reasons given were that the front of the car is falling off, there is no oil in the car and the the car is dirty! My car is not falling apart, there is plenty of oil in it and it most certainly is not dirty! My children ride in it all the time. All I can assume is that the mechanic assigned to do it just couldnt be bothered to do their job!!! I have wasted a days holiday and 39.99 on the test which Im told I might get back in a weeks time. I feel Ive been treated awfully and frankly your mechanic has told lies in order to not have to do their job. Im outraged and very upset. I will not be using Halfords again as I find the company unprofessional with lazy lying mechanics who will say anything to get out of doing work. Waste of my time and money.

My car is not falling apart, there is plenty of oil in it and it most certainly is not dirty! My children ride in it all the time.
