Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury

During my short time with Right at Home before I resigned, I can honestly say that at the beginning it all starts off ok then the true colours start to show. The company is good at some things such as rewarding its team with vouchers etc but the other reviews you read about being reported to safeguarding for calling in sick etc is unfortunately correct. Its hard to know weather your annual leave has been approved even if you give the correct notice and sometimes you wont find out until 2 days before. I was lucky as left before weekend work/oncall become a issue for me. At interview I was told different to reality. The oncall isnt worth the hassle, you can sometimes be woken up at 4am and its not worth it for the pay given. Its like a conveyer belt with office staff and overall the retention of office staff seems to be poor. It was hard to complete my job as retention as ideas where just dismissed saying it wont work or we have tried that before. I feel its the people management of the care staff and office staff that is much to be desired.

I have worked for Right at Home In Stockport for nearly 3 months now as a recruitment coordinator. I am so happy that I decided to move jobs, I am happier here than I have been in any other role. I feel appreciated for the work I do and I know I have plenty of growth and progression. The staff and carers are really friendly and a pleasure to work with. They have all been so welcoming.

Right at home have been looking after my hubby since last August 2018 we have had excellent service the carers are extremely good very friendly and extremely well trained all the office staff are on the ball and happy to sort out any problems etc all in all a very good company to choose if you are in need of home care
