    I started working with Matt 18 months ago, with the aim of developing my functional strength and flexibility, after 20 years with back problems. Previously at the gym, if my back or shoulder hurt, I would just avoid exercising that area, but Matt has shown me how modifying exercises or body position can allow me to keep strengthening those muscle groups safely and without exacerbating the problem. His knowledge as a trainer is second-to-none and he has given me the confidence to push myself where I may previously have held back. Every session is designed to allow me to maximise my strength gains whilst feeling comfortable with the demands placed on those 'problem areas'. I have learned when to pull back and when I can push through without risk of injury and Matt is always making adjustments to my programme to find the exercises that work best for me. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

    Matt is everything that you want and need from a coach. His approach is supportive, encouraging and considerate. Matt adopts a collaborative approach to tailoring my training plan to ensure that everything is achievable and that I enjoy all of my sessions. Since I started training with Matt I have improved my relationship with exercise and food and massively increased my strength. I would recommend training with Matt to anyone.

    Matt is a great coach with a holistic approach to fitness and health. He's developed a clear and fun plan for me with a variety of moves and exercises. I find our 121 sessions challenging, but fun and informative. I have already seen an improvement in my strength, fitness and mobility. Matt is very friendly, and supportive, and is perfect if you're looking for a knowledgeable and experienced coach who takes a science based and positive approach to coaching and exercise.
