Absolutely NOT home improvements Paid for a top- quality door - fitted with a cheap end model. Issues from the beginning with incompetent installation and faulty rain guard. Rain guard still faulty, but more seriously we can no longer easily lock the door and it has become a security issue. We have contacted the company several times and have not even had the courtesy of a phone call. We made the mistake of trusting a cold-call salesman. Please do not use this company- there is nothing reliable, honest or local about this company. Short of taking them through the small claims court, which I am considering, it looks as though we are going to have to pay out for a new door well within a guarantee period.

Avoid this company! Do not expect any customer service from this company. They pretend to be the most professional company until a deposit is taken and then you wont hear from them again. We ordered a door in August and were told that it would be fitted within 6-8 weeks. Its now December and we are still waiting for the door and also for a phone call (which has been promised for months!). When they do get back to you it's via a text, normally apologising and advising that they will call you back soon as they are currently with a customer or that they havent got any phone signal. That phone call never comes! As they wont return any calls and werent available when I visited their two business addresses, Ive contacted my bank for help.

Avoid this company. I have a contract with this company which says "7 units Pilkington A rated glass, Argon filled" I got 7 units of plain glass, no reflective surfaces, no Argon filling. Four of the units were not installed because they did not fit. Absolute did the measuring. One of the units of the correct size was smashed when it was "blown over" When this last unit was being installed Colin dashed over to collect the cheque. I asked " Where are the Pilkington stickers? He and his fitter both said "We remove those" You would, wouldn`t you. Note he came to collect the cheque, despite on his website he claims to take Mastercard and Visa. "A" rating only applies to new units in new frames but Absolute didn`t know that. Absolute shambles!

Do not expect any customer service from these people. Once a deposit has been taken their phones go silent. When they do get back to you it's via a text, normally apologetic and confirming they will call you back shorty as they are currently with a customer. I've yet to have them call. Frustration has turned to anger, if there was a way to cancel and get the deposit back I would.

The company did my house with windows and doors. My composite front door black paint is coming away from the door and I have contacted Colin in April 2021 and I am still waiting for the problem to be sorted. Unhappy customer.
