Very friendly and caring staff. Waited a while due to other patients with more serious needs arriving, but they got me sorted thoroughly when it was my turn. They all deserve a decent pay rise.

Attended today via a GP referral. Yes there was a long wait, but it was expected. Everyone who I seen was very nice and pleasant, the consultant Dr I seen was amazing she had a lovely bedside manner thoroughly listened to me I cannot fault anything they did for me today.

Rude staff on reception, nurses wouldn't even look at me when I was clearly waiting to ask a question and when I finally managed to get their attention to ask about pain relief while we waited to be seen, all I got was a "no". Two of the three vending machines in A&E were out of order and no cups available for water, so nothing available to drink at all. Car parking payment also wasn't working but there were no signs explaining that, so had to pointlessly wheel my husband around in a wheelchair trying to pay.

In need of serious improvement. Any issues you might have they will leave you in agony and send you back to your gp even though you are in need of urgent medical attention. Theyll just give you painkillers and send you home. Rude receptionists, overworked medical staff and no beds is something you will face as soon as you walk in the department. In case your blood work comes back clean you are sent home despite the fact you are in pain for months. Theres no sympathy for patients.

Probably waited about 1.5 hrs which is very good. Then the Dr was very nice and dealt with my problem well. The problem that we had I wasn't very mobile and they have blocked off access to main part of hsp and the A& E. Even the staff couldn't tell me where I could go and sit inside and wait for husband to pick me up. And when you arrived it's not clear how to get to A & E. They seem to forget patients are In trouble and need help even if not coming in an ambulance. I know the hsp well and we couldn't work it out and staff have no idea either, had to ignore the block and go on amb route. A real mess and if you were in a bit of a panic as well!
