    Twice got cancelled to even attend to give a quote/ design . This dose not bode well if they were given any work so cancelled them even attending

    I have no hesitation in recommending my fitted kitchen, I was originally going to order my new kitchen from a well known kitchen shop but changed my mind, when I saw what I could get for less & with a much higher spec. Thanks especially to Mike the designer & the fitters Gareth & Richard, who transformed a room into my dream kitchen.

    Firstly the positives. The design process and consultation was excellent and ensured that I had the kitchen planned that met (and exceeded) my expectations and my requirements. The installation date was planned, and although I had to wait quite a while for this I was fine with that and the installation was completed on time in June 2020. I was pleased with the installation of the kitchen and the finished product overall but there were a few small snagging issues. This is where the problems have begun with MyFittedKitchen. There were three things left outstanding at the end of the installation. 1. The taps were not correct and needed changing 2. An end piece for a unit had not been delivered and needed to be ordered and fitted. 3. The electrical safety check had not been completed. I was assured that it would not be a problem to have the outstanding items completed and that MyFitted Kitchen would be in contact very soon to arrange this. Electrical Safety Check I received a phone call from the electrician to say that they were at my home to complete the checks. I had not been informed of them coming to my house that day and I was at work and unable to get back home. An appointment was rearranged and after waiting over four hours for him to attend I was able to contact the electrician to be told that he had been sent to another job and that I should have been informed of this. To date (five months after installation) I have had no contact regarding the rearranging of the electrical inspection. Whilst I have no reason to believe that the electrical work was not completed to a good standard, this has not been certified and there is the chance that there could be a problem with the installation that I am not aware of. With regards to the taps and missing piece for the end unit, I contacted the showroom on several occasions and was informed that they would contact the fitter and arrange for him to come and fit these and apologised that this had not taken place. Despite several phone calls and several promises I still did not receive either a visit or any communication. At the beginning of September I escalated my concerns and spoke to Steve Brock who again apologised for the inconvenience and that this work had not been completed. He informed me that the fitter was on holiday that week, but following his return he would speak to him and arrange a firm date for the work to be completed. AT the end of September I had heard nothing from the company and again contacted Steve. I was told that he was having difficulty in contacting the fitter but that the matter would be resolved at the latest by week beginning 23rd October (I had stated that this was the only time I was available to be at home. This date came and still no contact from Steve or the company. I received an email from Steve on the 30th October (after several attempts to contact him by phone and email) stating that he again apologised and would contact me by telephone on 2nd November. Despite further emails and telephone calls I have still received no response. It is really disappointing for me to have to write this review. As I stated at the beginning I was very pleased with the initial service and the initial installation but I have found their follow up work and customer service to be extremely poor. I am lucky that this is only a relatively minor issue that I am having and not a significant problem with the kitchen. I hope that the matter can be resolved and I have the opportunity to be able to update my experience with the company.
