Very pleased with service from Holmes carpets. When deciding what to buy showroom staff not pushy but will advise if you request it. Dont try and sell you most expensive but what suits you. friendly efficient competent .Cherry on the cake the fitters Carl and Jordan were top class just got on with the job and looks first class. I would use this company again without hesitation .

Could not recommend this company enough! Lee looked after us from the beginning, was extremely professional and polite and nothing was too much to ask. He provided such an excellent service and was honest throughout. The overall experience of dealing with this company was superb, any time i contacted with any hesitation or worries they responded very quickly and provided a solution. I have dealt with many carpet companies in this past but this was by far the most pleasant experience! would recommend to all friends and family

Friendly and helpful in the showroom. I was keen to go ahead and he gave me a provisional date pending survey and measuring. Survey done, heard nothing so I called to chase and told now no availability until Dec 19th. I'd cancelled off one of the big chains who'd matched their price because I wanted to support local trades. Overpromised and under delivered, and now my job is even further delayed. When I called up showroom I was told I should have confirmed... I did, I was following their instructions of waiting for survey to complete. Disappointing

If you're thinking of going here, don't. They're very friendly but too many mistakes and you foot the bill. 1st room they didn't order enough lvt so job was done in 3 halves (also fitted the incorrect beading in a part of the room) 2nd room put underlay down then lvt, so had to be completely redone months later as the floor was moving. 3rd room we went in and chose the carpet (charcoal pet proof) they sent the invoice which we paid then they fit the wrong carpet (beige and wool). They had put the wrong carpet on the invoice and now want me to pay for their mistake (another 350). Now I'm getting invoices sent multiple times a week for said carpet. The argument being I should have known the wrong carpet was on the invoice. But if you go in store and choose it should be them putting the correct one on the invoice. Now I've spent over 400 on a carpet which will need replacing as not pet proof. So don't bother, I will say the recent fitters have been great, just a shame they don't work for a good company
