I used Kristopha Salon many years ago and, having recently moved back to the area I booked a haircut for my daughter and I. Expecting, as you would, a lovely mother/daughter time together. It turned into a horrifying experience from start to finish! We were the only customers at the time, a Wednesday afternoon. Three ladies were working/present in the salon. They appeared totally disinterested in being there. The young girl washing our hair pulled and scrubbed so hard it was like being punished. I feared that I'd have no hair left by the time she would be finished and had to tell her to be more gentle and stop pulling as I felt my hair breaking. Unfortunately my daughter had been too polite and unsure of whether to say anything. Her scalp hurt badly for days afterwards. The hairdresser did not take enough time to understand what my daughter wanted. And as we tried to get it corrected, the style became worse, rather than better. My daughter, a strong, tough girl who is never moved to tears couldn't get out of the salon fast enough, and with a few steps away from the salon I could see she was welling up with tears. She cried hard for some time, after what can only be described as a terrifying experience! And for a full charge of 90.00 for us both to have a wash and cut. I only wish there was a way that I could warn others far away from this so called Hairdressers. I wish there was an association of Hairdressers that would enable practicing "licenced" haidressers to have their licence to operate taken from them.

The owner cut my hair too short and totally different shape that I wanted (my entire hair length was removed and now I need to wait years to grow it), after I complained to him and wanted to resolve the issue amicably, he did not even suggest the refund and even when I asked repeatedly for the refund, the phone line went dead (this was a second time the owner hung up the phone on me). So, I ended up with a bad haircut and short hair that is in unacceptable condition and wrong shape. I needed to buy hair extensions worth 55 to make up for the length lost. So, I paid the hairdresser 48 for this bad experience and with the 55 hair extensions, this is an expensive experience for me. This issue would have been easily fixed if not for the rudeness of the hairdresser. Instead, he has lost a customer that could attend his saloon for many years, therefore not good for his business but I ended up with a bad haircut, thus no win for both parties. Thought that I found a good hairdresser but sad that it was not the case. Do not recommend. Service: Hairstyling
