So the local garage that was doing an engine rebuild on my car used quasar for the bottom end rebuild, all was good but without even 1000 miles on it since being rebuilt, going down the motorway I suddenly heard a funny knocking noise I pushed the clutch in and the engine stalled I pulled over lifted the clutch up again and the engine started with a horrible rattle. It got recovered back to the garage which said it was the bottom end and they would get it sorted and it should be covered by the warranty. They sent it back to quasar who investigated it and haven't given a proper reason to what's happened to it bug it's apparently scrap now and they aren't willing to do anything about it. So the garage are going to do what they can to help me get my car back on the road but I've had to buy a new engine. I have heard a few negative things about them since I've had my issues with them. But I will not use them again and I will not recommend them to anyone as if anything goes wrong they are not willing to correct it. So I'm well over 1000 down and without a car for a few months.

Top quality work as always today by the guys at Quasar. Fast, friendly service and surprisingly reasonable price too! I have used them many times and have always been very impressed.
