Went to the stockport one this afternoon the all the staff was so amazing and lovely i left felling so much more confident than when i went it thank you so much :) will tell everyone that is struggling and needs help such an amazing experience

Smartworks is an amazing charity. Unfortunately, like so many people, I lost my job due to Covid 19 and was trying for a long time to get a job. I had an interview through my Restart programme and was referred to Smartworks by them. I'd never heard of them before but they are amazing. They sent me a package of clothing to wear for my interview which comprised of a suit, top, shoes, handbag and some lovely extras like jewellery, make up, perfume etc. They are really supportive and give you the confidence to go for it. I got the job!

A great charity to help women into work

I was referred to Smart Works by my JETS coach. After 10 months of being unemployed, I was finally offered an office job, which was great news. However, I was worried about having to buy lots of new clothes, since in my previous role I had worked from home for 7 years. The ladies at Smart Work were very nice and welcoming and the stylist assigned to me was amazing: in about an hour she helped me to pick a capsule wardrobe including perfectly fitting dresses, colorful tops, and a smart backpack for cycling to work. She also included lots of lovely extra such as toiletries, beauty products, and a beautiful bracelet. I felt really pampered and it was great to know that I could focus on going back to employment with one less thing to worry about. Thank you for the amazing work you are doing!
