Treetop Hideaways

Me and my wife stayed at Treetop Hideaways at the beginning of April for my birthday, and would like to say how beautiful it is. The Treehouses have been built with such thought and care, which you can tell from the attention to detail that has been put into building the place. We stayed for 2 nights in Squirrels Drey, and the whole time was peaceful, calm and relaxing. From taking in the sun on the balcony with a cup of tea and some Plum Bread which was left in the welcome hamper, to chilling in the hammocks late at night just looking at the tranquil lake. We were lucky enough to get great weather for the whole time we were at Treetop Hideaways, so we were able to make use of the rowing boat. This was a very nice touch, and quite unique. I couldn't have asked for more on my birthday than just floating around in the lake on a hot sunny day, listening to the birds, perfect. I would just like to say a big thanks to Jenny for the birthday message left. We would certainly recommend Treetops to anybody looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back. Keep up the great work.

We visited Treetop Hideaways to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and I'm so glad we found this wonderful place, it exceeded all our expectations. The location really is the perfect spot to relax and unwind amongst nature, provided with all the amenities you could need and lovely personal touches. Not to mention spotlessly clean! We will not hesitate to recommend to family and friends and hope to stay again future.

Beautiful, peaceful hideaway, we stayed for 2 nights in Robins Nest, and it was superb, the lodge is spotless and has so many little nice touches (flowers, soaps decor etc). The lodge provides robes and slippers, teabags, sugar, coffee and milk, as were a nice basket filled with packets of crisps and plum bread. The place is easy to find and right on the lake, we had a lovely little boat, and there are lots of walks in the surrounding area. We walked into Woodall Spa, with lots of little shops pubs etc, and so much history, if you are interested in the 647 bomber squadron, you wont be disappointed. We left some seeds and breads for the multitude of little birds and squirrels that visited, and the geese are brilliant, there are a couple of Egyptian geese as well. We will definitely return (even if just for my outside bath under the stars!)
