Booked a appointment to get my tag watch strap adjusted needed a few links then out .but to my surprise when travelling there I got told he never had special tools to take the pins out,and they were all different?? So OK no problem I left a bit shocked as they looked like normal link pins to me and to be honest I felt a little let down I then phoned a friend in Whittlesey who has quite a few top end watches to see if he knew anywhere to go he sent me to a little shop in Whittlesey called (the menders )Allan who is the proprietor done the work while I stood and watched with no particular special tools just wooden tap hammer pin remove tool and watch block so 5 minutes and charged me 5 what a result,, I do not know what went wrong with Mr Richards but my wife has been there a good few times and I have sent numerous people to him but now I cannot in good faith send any other people there but I will at (the menders) Whittlesey Allan was a pleasure to meet if I had of known about him sooner it would have saved me a lot of time.
