        We had stay at Ivy Cott with friends for an early summer girls weekend of catching up and popping into Fulford for a few drinks and a meal at The Plough, also recommended. Fabulous location for hopping on the bus and doing this or further on, into York. Ivy Cott itself is a beautiful and quirky cottage that has been fabulously done up to a high standard, maintaining all of its cottage charm! Stillingfleet is an idyllic little Yorkshire village as well; peace and tranquillity in adundance whilst being only a short drive away from York. Another little place, only a few minutes away and easily ride on the bikes, Naburn marina has a fab cafe, bar & restaurant right on the river. Definitely a place to whole away an hour or two, especially in the sunshine! All in all, I massively recommend Ivy Cott; fab place in a lovely location!
