if you want to travel to the Greek Island of Halki, they are the only way to do it with true satisfaction. Nissia are a Family Company who really care and are always there for you. Be it at the airport, travelling to the Island or on Halki itself. As a added bonus the people of Halki are a friendly, happy and truly helpful group. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. This is written with many years of visiting the Island. The large number of people who revisit Halki is because of the effort that Nissia put into ensuring everyone has a great holiday.

My wife and I have used Nissia Holidays since their first Summer season in 2007 (they were formed in October 2006 when we booked our 2007 holiday). Daffy, Menia and the team are always at the top of their game when dealing with any queries or when we've ever encountered any problems associated with our holidays. We visit Halki at least once a year and Nissia gives us the edge there as they are so firmly embedded in the fabric of life on that island. We have just returned from Halki and have already booked our holiday there for 2022. It is always a pleasure dealing with them.

Where do you start....family run company,years of experience in the Dodecanese Islands, island managers have lived on their Islands for years, I could go on and on. But to see Nissia at their best you need to be on one of the islands when a problem occurs, that's when their local connections kick in and its very impressive. We were on Tilos a few years back when the weather forecast turned nasty, within a very short time scale all their clients due to go home in the couple of days were told that their transfer had been moved a day forward, a hotel was booked for us on Rhodes and a optional evening meal out in Rhodes was booked withtransport etc. Shows how well they work with the other firms that deal with their transfers along with their flexibility to respond to problems. I would heartily recommend them!

Nissia are specialists in the small secluded islands of Halki (tick), Nisyros (day trip but on the wish list for holiday with Nissia) and Tilos (tick) which have retained their typical Greekness with a relaxed pace of life, where the islanders greet you so warmly that you instantly feel at home. Add to this Nissias first hand knowledge of their islands, their personal touch and attention to detail together with their excellent villa accommodation and you have the Nissia effect which sees their guests returning year after year. From the first encounter with their reservations office to the final (pre covid) hug goodbye at the airport the personal touch is very much in evidence and you are very much aware that you are not just a name and number on a tour representatives clip board but a treasured and welcome guest. During the past 15+ years travelling with Nissia we have encountered flight delays, local strikes, early/late boat departures due to capricious weather, all of which been expertly resolved by the Nissia team - whatever the arrival time there has always been a friendly welcoming face with either onward transport to the port and chosen island or overnight accommodation in Rhodes arranged as appropriate. Footnote: I was lucky enough to visit Halki between last years lockdowns and thanks to Nissias comprehensive covid safeguarding measures and the islanders enthusiastic welcome had one of my most relaxing holidays ever.
