        *EDIT* We recently returned after being invited back by the management for a Sunday lunch, much improved. Food was lovely and plentiful, staff were very accommodating and we will definitely return. Nice to have found a fab local pub *EDIT* Lovely place for drinks but food was quite flavourless, just 'OK', watery gravy and in both the main courses and the dessert, what arrived on the plate was different to what was described on the menu. Staff were nice and polite but wouldn't hurry back for food.

        Sunday lunch was amazing. So delicious there was no room for pudding. Beautifully cooked with lovely fresh vegetables and crispy traditional roast potatoes. Lovely atmosphere of a traditional pub. Will definitely be back here.

        Had a very tasty lunch, my wife declared that the lamb meal she had was very good. I opted for the fish and chips. The chips were lovely,whilst the cod was moist and delicious. Three real ales were available, the Timothy Tailors landlord was perfect.
