This is a strange review because in the end, due to Covid concerns, we had to cancel our stay. I can say however that dealing with Vicki over this difficult time was very, very easy. If you are looking to deal with someone who is honest and fair then you are in the right place. Vicki didn't hassle us at all to make a decision re whether we could go or not even although time was getting on. Once we had decided that we definitely couldn't go she offered us a refund of our deposit right way and wasn't even going to keep an admin fee until I insisted. We very much hope to visit next year as it looks a fantastic place to stay and they are easy people to deal with.

Fantastic place to stay, lots of space, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and had lots of room to get around. Wet room was very good for her use also. Loved seeing the horses and dogs.Vicki is very friendly and helpful if you needed anything. We stayed in October, previously was going to stay in April before lockdown arrived, but Vicki offered our money back or reshedule and we are glad that we did! Will book again for next summer so that we can sit outside a bit more.

Myself and my family stayed at Maythorn farm for a month as we were in between a house move. The stay was amazing and Vicki was the best host ever always attending to anything we needed and making sure we were comfortable. Our 3 year old had her very own chickens she named Robin Hood and Samson the frog. Every morning she woke up and collected eggs from them. Our teenager loved practically having her own apartment upstairs. The photos dont do the place justice as its so much more beautiful and peaceful. Waking up to the sounds of horses and enjoying a cup of coffee over looking the spectacular views was priceless. Perfect for children, pets young and the old!! Thank you Vicki and Mr Barrett for truly a great stay making it easier for us to deal with the stresses life threw at us. Definitely will come and visit again x
