A pleasure to deal with Steve and a cracking car, honest and simple approach. Purchased Alfa Quadrifoglio after a 6 month search - presented beautifully and very accurate description. Steve has a keen eye for a sound car and is personally invested in only bringing solid motors for sale! Great communication, great price and 1st class treatment., Very happy with the car especially with the valves open on full chat. Car was as advertised 'beautiful'. I was in need of a car and I was looking at getting Ford Mondeo Titanium X. These guys had a Titanium x Sport. Lovely looking car. Now the battery went within the space of a few days and fair play it was replaced. Then issues started arising when I noticed the brakes were not good. I contacted SL Autos and was asked to take the vehicle to Louis so he could have a look. I drove there and Louis was nowhere to be seen. I dealt with Steve. I explained the issue that the car was not stopping very well and he took it for a test drive. Stamping very hard on my brakes and telling me they are fine.He then proceeded to give me a lecture on braking systems and how they get fixed by showing me a YouTube video. When I looked at the mot history the brakes came up on an advisory and looking at the state of them I think there is no way they were replaced. My trusty Mechanic back home told me the pads were rusted to the discs and he had to remove them with a hammer. That has cost 435 for new pads and discs. The auto levelling sensor has gone on my car. Its still under warranty (Which Louis extended) and it has cost me 80 for a diagnosis at ford plus the cost of the part and labour. I have received no paperwork regarding my warranty and I would like to claim this back. I don't think Louis's warranty exists. It seems once they have your money in their bank your customer aftercare does not exist. They are trying to turn it around and make it my fault. I am now in talks with my mechanic to get a report written out for legal purposes. I am now contacting the Ombudsmen and motorcodes.
