Despite problems with oak supply due to Brexit, Paul Hicks and his team still performed to programme. Having undertaken a trial assembly of the main frame elements in the workshop, the oak frame for our barn was then raised in a day and is really spectacular. Paul is very helpful and always puts himself out to explain things in way that anyone can understand. The quality of the workmanship was to a high standard and I would have no compulsion in recommending English Oak Frames to other potential customers. It was a pleasure doing business with Paul and his team.

In terms of knowledge, design acumen, technical expertise and attention to detail, we would highly recommend working with English Oak Frames. Paul and his small, expert team worked with us for 10 months on a complex build and restoration project for our 600 year old cottage. The standout feature of working with Paul is his passion for producing technically sound design which is utterly beautiful. Paul is extremely dedicated to his clients; is completely transparent and discusses and agrees project elements in detail to ensure client alignment. His team share this professional approach and more than that, they are simply a pleasure to have around. Even for 10 months! We would not hesitate in recommending this outstanding team.

Dear Paul I just want to say a big thank you to you and your team at English Oak frames, we were so lucky to have been directed to you for the design and build of our amazing home, we could not of asked for anything more. You have been patient throughout, nothing was too much trouble for you. You listened to our ideas and made them come alive, you have offered advice throughout which has been invaluable. Your attention to detail on the design of our home has been second to none, the customer service has been amazing and your team have been fab, so friendly! The features and the craftsmanship of our oak frame are quite something. Many people have commented on how beautiful the workmanship is and how the design is the best they've ever seen. We have so many features to look at, we never get bored of just admiring them! We now have the pleasure of owning an absolutely stunning oak framed family home, it takes our breath away just how stunning it is, we can't quite believe its ours.
