The Oval Post Office

Opening hours state post office open until 7pm however refused to serve me at 6.50pm as they like to close early at 6.45 pm to get out of work early.

Always long queue and long lasting waiting time although staff is good but when main counter closes they open another one at shop till but don't take people as they were standing in queue so all your time is wasted and you will be last in queue again

If you prefer to buy postage online and hand it in at a post office for proof of postage, you'll need to steer clear of this particular branch. On more than one occasion, I've been told that items I've brought in "won't scan". And that's that - inexplicably they can't enter it manually, and they'll most likely tell you to try again another day. How can this kind of thing possibly be happening in this day and age? Never had this problem at any other post offices.

Incredibly short staffed, it can take 20mins in a queue to be served. Queues are the whole length of the shop. Feel very sorry for the Post Office staff who are struggling but doing their best to cope. The shop is very poorly run.
