Symonds Green Health Centre

In my opinion its the best doctors surgery around. You ring up at 8 for an appointment and you are in a queue 9 out of times you get an appointment.Then They ask you if you would like a face to face or phone consultation. Pre covid you would ring up and ring 150 times get through at 8:05 and no appointments would be left. Well done symonds green health centre.

From the moment you walk in the reception makes you feel welcome. All the staff are amazing and so kind. The ladies at reception whether face to face or over the phone are so helpful, kind and patient. The nurses are very knowledgeable and always have time to ease your worries and concerns. The doctors are also the same and listen to you. This practice is very accommodating and is good for getting an appointment. Definitely the beating heart of a local community. Thank you for everything over the years for not only myself but my family also.

I have only been with this practice since moving to the area in 2020. All the staff are professional and do their utmost to help. Cannot fault them all.

Dr Arif was amazing with my 10 year old son and made him feel calm and safe when he was worried about an appointment. He took the time to talk to him and was very helpful.

Myself and my family have been with this practice/surgery for many many years personally, we think they deserve an award. I've listened to many people's complaints re their Dr's surgeries and ours is the best by far in Stevenage and maybe country wide. The reception staff (especially Ailsa & Jackie) are exceptional, they greet you with a smile and are definitely there to help you when needed also, you can garantee an appointment on the day that you ring. Dr Masood and Dr Shazeb are extremely understanding and compassionate in their role and never rush you through your appointments and call you if requested. Of course we must not forget the important role of Alison the nurse (whom we've all known for many years) and all the other nurses that we've seen at this surgery. Thank you all for being there for us and doing an excellent job - Mrs Sylvia-Anderton, Mr Anderton & all The Francis family.
