We had problems with ethernet ports not working in some of the rooms in our house. James came round and managed to re-terminate the cables in the rooms, quickly and efficiently getting the ethernet back up and running - much appreciated in these WFH times! Would definitely recommend.

I took my laptop to James because it suddenly stopped working. He suggested to change the Motherboard so I ordered a replacement. Once received, he fixed and assembled it right there and then for less than an hour. So happy because my laptop is working again. Highly recommended..

My daughter "no idea how it happened?" cracked the screen on her Lenovo Yoga Laptop/tablet. Lenovo were unable to help. They could not supply an original replacement part but suggested I could send it back to them for repair? When I mentioned the fact that they did not have a replacement part to repair the device with we reached a dead end. I then got in touch with James who is local to me and he took the job on. I sourced replacement screens on Amazon and eBay, both suppliers looked to be UK based but on further investigation turned out to be the same China based supplier, neither of these screens worked and I sent them back for refund. Finally (as my daughter had never actually used it as a touch screen tablet) we agreed to replace the screen with a non touch screen replacement from a supplier known to be reliable and UK based. It was not an easy job and James only charged for two hours work total when we probably spent two hours discussing the options and the non-working screens supplied etc. He knows his stuff (I certified as an Electronics engineer with Marconi so feel qualified to make that judgement). I would recommend him wholeheartedly, you are dealing with a straightforward individual who has spent years immersing himself in this technology and running his own business. In the absence of a direct replacement part from Lenovo (or third party OEM) James showed a level of skill and application to adapt what was available which you would never get from the big suppliers (they would be "just bin it and buy another one from us"). Five Star.
