Beginning of June 2021following a Zoom interview was offered a position as a Covid vaccinator to start after 12th of July. Sent all necessary paperwork, went for mandatory trainings, seen the Occupational Health nurse and then no contact from the part of the Trust despite my numerous attempts to get in contact with them. Such lack of professionalism I have never encountered in my working life in UK. Very disappointed and made me lose my trust in the way NHS works in terms of recruiting personnel. Very poor communication and no consideration towards professionals interested to join this Trust.

Lister hospital has the best doctors ever. Most caring doctors. I was in hospital 2011 and they saved my life from a two months coma, to where I am today. This 2021 I went back to Lister Aand E after I discovered my leg was swollen after the vaccine. They did investigations fast and saved me once again from a severe blood clot.

Sorry the 5 star reviews are clearly fake and had never used the eerrr service. From my dad who died from.... heart, no liver, might be tropical disease, STD, kidney, infection, alcoholism (my dad didnt drink) or my personal favourite a type of Lupus which is found in black men under 30. My dad was white and 78. Where he lost half his body and the staff didn't notice. Or the the time my other half was in intensive care completely paralysed with GBD. Her poo bag had not been changed and overflowed to cover over half the floor of her room. That would have taken hours so close monitoring happens in intensive care. Or the time she was placed in a hoist chair for excercise for 30 minutes. Still there 7 hours later in absolute agony and tears. Intensive care at it finest once again. Personally given wrong treatment plan for my diabetes, should have been reviewed constantly in the first 6 months. Turns out i was taking insulin completely wrong for four years. Dislocated ankke phoned for an Ambulance (pre covid) to be told it was not an emergency and it would be 5-6 hour wait. Luckly mother in law drove my in to A & E where they were brilliant. Pain relief, x-ray and set within minutes as had restricted blood flow to the foot. If i had waited for the ambulance would have been talking amputation. I could go on and on and on. I genuinely can not remember an interaction where they have not f@#ed up something

I have stage 4 kidney failure I am supposed to have appointments every 4 weeks, I received NO appointments in February the March one was cancelled without any notice and I along with others turned up to be turned away, NO appointment was given for April and I received one for May only today, I am supposed to have regular blood tests so the renal department can monitor my progress and turned up today only to be turned away as i had for NO reason been taken off the system, because of high potassium levels i have been rushed into hospital 3 times in the last year as a result of the blood tests, the last time in March was NOT even spotted by the renal department it was the McMillan doctors who noticed it and called renal to make them aware, I have today called and left 3 msg with renal with NO response , this is NOT any sort of care whatsoever, Avoid lister hospital Stevenage at all costs!!!!!!

ENHT oral surgeon Dr Rajesh Chauhan treated me at Watton Place Dental Surgery privately and did a great job extracting two upper wisdom teeth. Two years later at Lister hospital, (after he referred me for general surgery) he performed two lower wisdom teeth extractions - unfortunately I woke up in severe pain as it was a "DIFFICULT REMOVAL" per notes. The staff in Day Surgery recovery (especially a lovely blonde lady who usually works in main surgery whose name I forgot - I'm so sorry!) did their utmost to make me comfortable until the afternoon surgical team could add more local anaesthetic to the lower left, which was utter agony despite copious Fentanyl and morphine. AMAZING staff, great day surgery unit staff and team, very smooth delivery of service and excellent aftercare. Also plenty of parking which is rare for a hospital on a busy weekday! This is a good Trust. I also have had nothing but excellent service at New QEII in Welwyn. Unfortunately have now moved to Watford and joined West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust who have a LOT to learn from this excellent ENHT with regards to high quality patient primary care delivery...
