Always a different Gp who doesnt look at notes before hand . Reception not helpful on this which is not satisfactory for a cancer patient. Saw the same Gp for 30 years in London and moved here 5 years ago. Reception not really interested, perhaps too many patients? Not confident with the expertise or service. Looking to change Gp and reception not really bothered! Would not recommend to anyone.

This is a great surgery. The receptionists are always helpful and friendly despite being very busy and the doctors and nurses are lovely. They are reassuring and proactive in my experience. I dont use the service much be when I do have had phone appointments relatively quickly and face to face in reasonable times. I havent noticed and negative changes since the merger - and hopefully that was just due to settling down of two teams and processes. Of course resources are a challenge for the whole NHS so if people were nice to the team (who are trying to help us patients) I think it would be nice. Also if you cant attend an appointment do try and let them know as early as possible so someone else can use it.

Since the merger we've had no contact with our own lovely receptionists or doctors, my son tried for three days and couldn't get to see a doctor. He tried 450 tomes to get through, and was on hold for half an hour. Its all gone bad since the merger, worse thing that ever happened, and with all the new buildings going up its going to get much worse! Not happy!!!

We have had issues with the surgery for years, the receptionists especially are so rude. They have had my wife in tears. These women have a power trip, they enjoy being in control of peoples health and well being. No matter how polite or nice you are, they still have this condescending tone and do not want to help. Now they have these new doctors, it's even worse. It seems the doctors have just rolled out of their crib and don't have a clue what they are doing. I went to them back in November as my back gave in and couldn't even walk. (I had to wait 6 weeks for this appointment) I have private health insurance so I asked the doctor (Maddocks) for a referral to Pinehill but he referred me to a spinal surgeon, one of his "friends" someone the policy doesn't support. So after a couple of months waiting I went back to see the rude and direct Doc and just asked him to refer me to lister. It's now 20th March and I'm still waiting. I have been taking the strongest Naproxen since October and they're not even helping anymore. I also work in construction 6 days a week to support my family, I have a severely autistic daughter who I help look after when I get home. My mental health is deteriorating and worried I have a tumor on my spine. If this is the case, then I will be taking this further.
