It is a great open space to visit. Although privately owned some access granted. There are plans to build houses in some of the land. It's a good area to spot wildlife and go for a walk. Has an orienteering course on the land as well. Old oak tree in the middle of the field that has seen a lot of changes in the area. Good to see its still standing firm.

Wonderful green space for families and dog walkers for the last twenty odd years & looked after by the friends of Mirrlees volonteers. Sadly now fenced off by the owners of the land, altho limited access has been granted.

Beautiful place. One of the few truly green spaces left in the area.
