We moved to steeple view in October 2022 and are so glad we did. The team at Tilia are really fab and we couldnt recommend them any more. Are there issues? Of course, but thats to be expected with any new build, and as long as youre on top of what you need to be added to the snagging list youll be fine. Once thing I would mention to others reading some of the negative reviews is that sometimes things are taking a while to fix or progress in terms of build. This isnt a Tilia issue, this is happening across the country due to supply both from materials and labour. Weve been patient with our fixes, and its paid off as theyre being looked at with time and quality and not rushed. Any of the urgent fixes (we had a pipe burst in the cold) were done immediately with Tilias out of hours service. Thank you especially to Paul and Shelley who have been amazing throughout the process. Paul is the site manager and is so thorough and empathetic. He doesnt try to fob you off, he totally understands even any very small snags, and works his hardest to get the right tradesperson in to get it sorted. Were so pleased to live in this really friendly development and are excited to see it be finished and matured in the coming months and years.

Hello, we booked the house with Tilia Homes steeple view in July with a completion date of September October and the house is in the stage of being roofed.Although it was not the ideal plot, we booked it because it suited the start of school for our grown up daughter and the arrival of a new member in our family. After we booked, only the roof and windows were put on and since July no work has been done on the house. Although I asked them why the tiles looked as if they were from recycling, all the shades since then they didn't come up with a conclusive answer other than that maybe they needed to be washed or that the site manager was going to ask the roofing subcontractor.Other were the quality standards I was told when booking. When asked why no work was being done on the house they came up with answers that they didn't have workers as they had problems although that wasn't the real reason. After I paid the deposit and I did the exchange of contracts in August came the email from the sales agency informing us that the house will be ready for handover at Christmas time without any apologies. Now I have to commute 16 miles 4 times a day to take the little girl to school with the new born baby. If Tilia needs 5 Months to finish the inside of an average sized house and the quality leaves a lot to be desired, it shows in the tiles of our roof, I would like you to think twice when booking a house with them so you don't suffer as we did.
