Elite Lofts

Marcus and his team completed a loft conversion on my house in July 2022. I agreed to hire him because he demonstrated a lot of know-how on his website, and through everything that we spoke about before work began. I didn't really know what to expect when he and Ben pitched up for the first day but my respect for their abilities only grew from there. Mostly it was Marcus and Ben with us for the build, and occasionally the bigger team for the big bits like steels delivery. However Marcus also has a large team carefully picked of sub-contractors - scaffolding, electrician, plumber, plasterers, materials suppliers - all of whom work to a very high standard. When on site they all sit down for lunch together and Ben makes the tea. They will frequently say things like "the building requirement is this, but we don't think that's enough so we put in another couple of bolts here. Always approachable, always polite, always accommodating. People who enjoy their jobs for a sense of achievement. I have the greatest respect for their abilities. I now have a superb brand new bedroom and bathroom in a double dormer conversion. Everything was delivered according to the original, year old quote, and for that precise cost (excepting the bits that we added as extras). I thought that was commendable. 100% recommendation. Greg

A terrific service from start to finish. Marcus helped to guide our design where in places we were unsure of the practicalities and options. Professional and approachable throughout, high quality workmanship and worked to the agreed timeframe. Continued engagement with local council where needed even after final payment made. Would definitely recommend.

Marcus, Ben, and the team are complete professionals, and the quality of their work is extremely high. The service is excellent, and Marcus always takes the time to explain all aspects of the build. Marcus endeavours to provide you with different options along the way to tailor to your requirements and always gives you plenty of time and space to make decisions. The team are polite and friendly and were also great with our young children. All in all, it was a pleasure to have them around, especially since we had not been able to socialise for quite some time due to Covid restrictions!! The team enter the loft through the ladder on the scaffolding meaning that the intrusion on your day-to-day life is very minimal and Marcus deals with all communications with sub-contractors, taking away any hassles. Marcus uses quality building materials and takes extra special care when it comes to very important elements like the extent of insulation required in your property. Our loft was completed in June 2021 to the agreed schedule and budget and year on we are so happy with the fantastic space that it has provided for our family. They cannot do Ipswich. It's a shame since there's no one stop shop for loft companies in Ipswich or it's surrounding areas. Been looking for weeks, I'm really disappointed.

I am so pleased we chose Elite Lofts to undertake our loft conversion. From the first meeting I had confidence that Marcus understood our vision and wanted to help us achieve it. I felt informed and involved at every stage; any issues or decisions were explained and talked through. The work was done to a high standard and Sam and Conner were friendly, professional and polite, and kept disruption to a remarkably minimal level! I would have no hesitation in recommending Elite lofts.
