We were in the area for a family day out and saw the good reviews of this place and thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! We received such a warm welcome even though we had our baby and dog with us. The food was delicious, we went for the Sunday roast and everything was delightful. So glad we stumbled across The Old Bear Inn and we will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

Visited here yesterday evening for a birthday dinner. Arrived early but were seen too and seated by our waitress. Drinks ordered and before long our starters arrived. My partner had the prawns and I had the scotch egg, both absolutely delicious. We then went for the Old Bear Burgers and agin the food was spot on. Portions were generous and the food really tasted like some love went into it. Would highly recommend, the paintings on the wall and the wood beams really added to the place alongside the various artworks on display on the walls! Would visit again if in the area!
