G Plan Sideboard Have owned this sideboard for over 50 years and top had become marked/stained. Thought about getting profession repolish before coming across Simon's YouTube channel. Watch it many times before ordering kit, on the basis of nothing ventured nothing gained, followed instruction almost to the letter, exchange an email with Simon for clarification on the veneer. Very pleased with result especially as it is the first time, I have attempted anything like this. Will use kit to restore similar. furniture. Managed to bring a Victorian elm stool 'back to life' with Gilboys Pure Gold polish. Used also on an oak dining table with fantastic result. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future

I have previously purchased Antique Gold (dark) and found it to be a great buy with a superb finish to my oak and other dark wood furniture. I have just purchased my second pot of gold . I needed to re polish a kitchen oak table and required advice on GILBOYS hard wax oil. I spoke to Simon who gave me helpful, professional advice on the oil product. Products were delivered quickly with no problems. Definitely use GILBOYS again.

Having never tried restoring wooden furniture before, I cannot praise the service and quality of Gilboys enough. I watched a video by Gilboys showing step by step how to strip and polish an Ercol table. I then used the chat function on the website to ask further questions, where I was advised on which products best suited my needs. I ordered the 'Pure Gold' clear beeswax polishing kit and a pot of hard wax oil. The products arrived promptly and were brilliantly packaged, with lovely touches such as a couple of packets of flower seeds to attract bees, and a small block of beeswax. There were even handwritten 'thank you' notes in the parcel. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the products to restore an Ercol pebble nest of tables to a light golden finish from a dark wood, which suits my decor perfectly. Many thanks to the Gilboys team.
