Food & drinks: Breakfast didn't start until 07:00 with quite a few people waiting to go in. Other hotels open earlier and with the amount of people waiting, perhaps this one could do the same. Inconsistency with the need to book the evening restaurant. One night I was told to go straight in at 18:30 as no need to book. The next night this wasn't the case, even though reception said it would be fine. The plus point is the evening buffet was superb!!

Stayed 2 nights - room decor rather tired, broken toilet cystern, sink plug unuseable, window would not close properly just minor points. However, the standard of cleaning was fabulous with good attention to detail. Everything was very clean all credit to the cleaner. Hotel reception staff extremely helpful. Dining area well set up and clean with a good choice of food as self service buffet for breakfast and evening meal. It works well. Again, very helpful staff attending at mealtimes except for one male member of staff serving behind the food counter at dinner on 23.05.23: when I asked if there was a vegetarian option he rolled his eyes and told me "I am sorry for your affliction, Madam". Neither funny nor professional. I didnt want his bigotted opinion, just to be pointed to the veggie options. Overall, however, a nice place to stay and would stay again if ever I am in the area.
