The best ice cream around. There's always a queue out of the door but I promise you it's worth it. My favourite is the chocolate but to be honest, you won't go wrong with any flavor. Well worth the detour if you are heading into the lakes for the day, you won't be disappointed.

So glad I found out about this place while looking for what's nearby Hawkshead Brewery. I thought I loved regular ice cream before, but wow their gelato is absolutely superb! Certainly up there with equally highly-rated places I've tried in Venice and Barcelona. What a gem for the locals this must be! I had to try the Christmas pudding flavour given the season in which I visited, alongside Black Forest Gateaux which was amazing. Despite it being December, there were several takeaway 'selection boxes' being ordered in front of us and now I know why

Literally the best ice cream in the lakes. So happy it does at least two flavours of vegan ice cream at all times. Well worth the time and diversion of the main road.
