        An amazing creative environment. The teaching is second to none. I would be there a lot more if I could. Drop in and pay a visit, youll be blown away at whats produce there.

        An amazing experience, with expert tuition! I went on the 44 week designer/maker course in 2017 starting with little wood working experience. Over the year my skills and confidence grew with Will and Oli introducing me to the art of creative design, and Tim and Graham teaching & nurturing woodwork skills to a precision I didn't think possible before I started the course.

        I completed a 44 week designer maker course at Waters and Acland in 2016. The year exceeded all my expectations. I went from having zero experience in furniture making to being confident in both designing and making. The level of teaching I received was second to none and Graham, our tutor, always went above and beyond to help us with our self designed projects. It also doesnt hurt that the workshop also happens to be in the beautiful Lake District!
