Dairy House Farm Bed & Breakfast

Stayed here recently with my fianc as we were visiting a friend in Hereford. Pros: - From the outside, the farm house and surrounding grounds are very scenic - Adorable dogs greeted us on arrival - Hospitable hosts - Clean bedding and towels - Comfy bed - Breakfast included in the room rate. The hosts offered a cooked or continental breakfast; I opted for some toast, a croissant and tea. Cons: - No keys provided; didnt stay out late as we wouldve felt like we were inconveniencing the hosts by coming in late - Room is a bit dated, run down, and neglected. Carpet needs changing or an industrial clean - En-suite bathroom had carpet, which Im not a fan of and find unhygienic - Two separate taps on the sink rather than a mixer tap. Shower head mixer didnt work; it was either boiling hot or freezing cold, so had to have a bath instead of a shower - Loads of cobwebs in the room and living/dead bugs, which shouldve been cleaned Overall, it wasnt an awful experience; I had a decent nights sleep, which is the most important thing, but I wouldnt stay here again. If you like staying somewhere with character, then give it a try, but I definitely prefer cleaner, more industrial accommodation.
