        A popular spot for a picnic, paddle, catching tiddlers and tadpoles, walking the dog and watching the wildlife. Now improved with new picnic tables, August 2022

        Great place to stop on the return of a walk at this picnic area. Its beside the river tees. Theres new picnic tables been added. Its a shallow part of the river near to the bank ideal for me children to paddle supervised. A great place that's not far from the town centre

        Not just the band stand area .Flatt's woods have great bluebells in the spring and the autumn colours are wonderful. Very nice place all year around to walk the dogs all the year round
