Hodgson Equine Transport Ltd

issues Ive had with this company . Up until booking communication etc was great . Once payment was made I kept having to chase for times etc . It was agreed she would be picked up on wed between 10 and 12. The day before ( Tues ) the current owners were contacted asking if they could pick that day without even contacting myself (they were not able to do this ). The horse was not picked up u til 1.15 pm on Wednesday which mucked around the current owner as she had work . I was told in a text message I would be contacted when collected . This did not happen , I again had to send two messages before being responded to . I was told Id be updated at 4.30 with a drop off time . 5.22 pm I received an text message stating not asking that the horse would be stabled at your yard overnight and told Id receive a picture/video . Was not at all happy about this as it was her first time travelling and being away from where she was born . Again had to chase for a picture and was told she would be starting her journey to me at 7.30/8.30 again no communication, heard nothing by 9am and was told she was just being loaded . Late again . When she arrived ir was a totally different company although this lady had great communication throughout . Picture sent and kept in touch unlike yourselves . The poor horse has arrived very stressed and severely tucked up from all the stress . I cannot state enough how disappointed I am with the whole experience. Will certainly not be recommending. I hung around all day and took the day off of work yesterday. Their response to this wasnt great either .

What a fantastic service, Steven was on time, he was super friendly and polite, I worry over everything and he put my mind at ease, stopped plenty of times to give updates. I will definitely be using hodgson equine transport again and highly recommend! Fantastic service communication great. Thank you

I am so thankful to the wonderful Hodgson Equine Transport who delivered my new purchase from Ireland today. For so many reasons , it has been an incredibly stressful few weeks leading up to today, but the second my horse was handed over to Hodgson ET, all my worries went away as they communicated well, sent us photos and delivered him safely and relaxed. Thank you so much .... you have been an amazing light at the end of a dark tunnel.

Brilliant Service! Mark was incredibly helpful and communication was great, keeping me updated throughout the journey. The box was very professional, and my horse was well looked after. Would recommend this company.

Excellent, efficient service with great communication. Dale delivered my 2 year old filly safely and calmly after a 2 hour journey from Carlisle to Cheshire and helped to keep her calm offloading onto the yard. Piers was great at keeping in touch and keeping me abreast of any changes regarding timings etc and I found him to be polite and professional. A great team, I would highly recommend
