Seemed to judge me well as he didn't just explain the problems when we were under the car, he actually worked with me and enlisted me to help with some of the work... Fine by me, I hired him because I don't have the equipment to do it myself but I'm happy to get my hands dirty.
The initial estimate through a third party website was ok, but the work required was different (I did some of it myself, and required a couple of extra jobs) - the total price actually came down to less than I expected.
I'm responsible for the work on 4 family-owned vehicles at the mo - whatever I can't do myself will be going to Martin so even if he priced my work low, there's plenty more to come!
