I purchased twice from this company, second time aa described by others I had to wait months for the floor to be delivered as it was out of stock but it wasn't on the website. The oak oiled floor is very nice but it's not properly treated and with humidity in the house it shrunk too much, now after only 3-4 years need to be replaced. It supposed to last minimum 20 years!!! Communication skills zero, customer support zero. Stay away

ZERO STARS Wish I had read the reviews first to NOT USE THIS COMPANY (and I use the term 'company' loosely and cowboy outfit would be more appropriate). Ordered flooring on Saturday and received an invoice which contained a number of website links you would find in a scam e-mail! Delivery was made on Tuesday evening, so despite the odd invoice, so far not so bad accept I noticed the flooring was not what I ordered so refused delivery. I ordered Prime grade flooring and got Rustic. I called the next day and they said there must have been a mix-up in the warehouse. They offered an upgrade - what is better than Prime?!? But they said their Rustic is Prime and I do not know what I am talking about. The situation is getting worse. The fellow I was dealing with was a nice enough chap, but not interested in giving my money back. Said my account would be credited that day, 48 hours latest. Long and short of it is, I called back a number of times and wrote several e-mails, and got flogged off to the 'accounts' team. In the end had to raise a case through Paypal and my credit card company. The kicker is when I raised the case through Paypal I immediately got an e-mail from them saying a refund was in process. There was no refund being processed, just an automated e-mail to get me to close the case! Shady, untrustworthy and trading under various names including 'Easystep Flooring' and 'The Flooring Warehouse'. I am truly disappointed.

I am looking to purchase flooring and this company has come up and looks very attractive due to their prices. What I will say is that their web pages advertise that you can pay by debit/credit card and pay pal when I called through to make the booking that do not actually accept credit/debit cards In order to make myself feel comfortable in placing my order I have tried to look at reviews via their Facebook and Twitter pages as again advertised on website however these are false links also. My final checks were to search Companies House and surprisingly they are not registered on there. All in all this has led me to look to purchase flooring elsewhere. Finally having read the very small number of reviews that are available for this company I am relieved that I have come to that decision. There are too many rogue traders out there willing to take your money I suggest we all give this one a wide birth.

A friend recommended these guys, so I went to see them in their warehouse, I got stuck in Friday evening traffic and they kindly stayed open late to facilitate me. I must admit to being worried when I saw the other negative review. Their online purchasing system is decidedly odd, you can't actually pay online and they don't take credit cards, even though the site says they do. Also none of the emails on their website actually work, so if it wasn't for my friend's recommendation and the fact that they were so nice when I visited them, I wouldn't have gone ahead. It's a lot of money to take a gamble on, even if they are great value! That said, the delivery did arrive on time yesterday. Their delivery company was supposed to phone before arrival, which they never did, but luckily my builder was on site and could take delivery. Haven't yet installed the floor, so can't speak for the overall quality just yet, but just wanted to reassure anyone who is having second thoughts that while they may be a bit chaotic, they do actually deliver on their promises :)
